2 Brothers, 19 And 20 Years-Old, Shot, Killed In Hartford: Reports

The double shooting occurred early Wednesday, according to authorities.

HARTFORD, CT — Two brothers, aged 19 and 20, were shot to death around 1 a.m. Wednesday on Barker Street, according to media reports.

Police found both brothers inside a residence and both men were taken to a local hospital where they died, NBC CT reported.

There have been 38 reported homicides in Hartford thus far in 2022. The two brothers shot and killed are: Cesar Deaza-Escobar, 20, and Jonas Deaza-Escobar, 19, WFSB 3 TV reported.

Police told Fox 61 that they believe the shooting was "targeted," but no other details have been released. The search for the suspect continues.
