2 DATTCO Commuter Bus Lines Canceled In Hartford: Report
Bus lines that have served commuters for decades are being canceled after the service provider and state failed to reach an agreement.
HARTFORD, CT — Bus company DATTCO has canceled some of its routes that have been around for decades, according to NBC CT. People who rely on the private bus service for transportation to and from Hartford will have to make new plans for their commute this week.
DATTCO and the state Department of Transportation failed to come to an agreement in September. DATTCO told NBC CT that the disagreement was due to getting raises for the drivers.
DOT officials said they are "hopeful the service provider will renew the contract so these services can be renewed."
