2 New Businesses Open In Downtown Hartford
After the pandemic dealt a severe blow to downtown business, two new shops may be a sign of a bouncback.
HARTFORD, CT — Two businesses have opened on Pratt Street in downtown Hartford recently, according to The Hartford Business Journal. One is Rundown sneaker shop, which opened on Saturday.
The other is Bloom Bake Shop, which announced on Sunday that it had leased one of the shops on the street.
Both businesses are receiving funds through "Hart Lift," a program announced last year that provides grants of up to $150,000 for landlords outfitting space for new and expanding stores.
