2 Rushed To Hospital After Hartford Double Shooing: Police
A woman and a man were hit by gunfire in an overnight shooting in Hartford over the weekend.
HARTFORD, CT — Two people were injured in a shooting early Saturday in Hartford, according to police.
The Hartford Police Department said officers responded to the area of 270 Barbour St. at about 12:30 a.m. Aug. 29 after receiving a ShotSpotter notification.
Officers arriving at the scene found a woman in her 30s suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.

She was alert and conscious and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
While officers were investigating, a second shooting victim, a man in his 40s, arrived at an area hospital seeking treatment, according to police.

Police did not disclose the extent of either victim's injuries or identify them.
The Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions responded and are investigating.
Police did not release information about a possible suspect or what may have led to the shooting.
