3 Shot In East Hartford Parking Lot Gathering

An overnight gathering in a credit union parking lot resulted in three people being shot.

EAST HARTFORD, CT — Three people were shot in a parking lot gathering in East Hartford shortly before 3 a.m. Monday, according to NBC CT. The large gathering happened via social media on East River Drive.

Two of those shot were taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. A third person had minor injuries and drove to the hospital on his or her own, according to NBC CT.

All suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating the incident, which occurred in the lot of American Eagle Financial Credit Union, WTNH reported.

No arrests have been made and it's unclear what led to the shootings. An Acura has been taken into evidence that had debris, shell casings, and bullet holes, according to WTNH.
