4 Men Charged In Child Trafficking Sting In Hartford: Reports
City and federal law enforcers apprehended the quartet at a hotel in Hartford April 19.
HARTFORD, CT — An undercover sting operation late last week has resulted in four men facing child trafficking charges.
According to WFSB Channel 3, the quartet of suspects has been identified by the Hartford Police Department as Jonathan Almonte of Hartford, 32; Aqib Bakawala of Manchester, 31; Angel Rodriguez of East Haven, 28; and Michael Huang of New York, 35.
WVIT Channel 30 reported the operation was conducted Friday, April 19, by the Hartford Police Department Major Crimes Division and the FBI Crimes Against Children/Human Trafficking Task Force.
