46-Unit Residential Project Moves Forward In Bloomfield

A former nursing home is slated to become a 46-unit residential development.

BLOOMFIELD, CT — A developer's plans for a former nursing home to be converted into a 46-unit apartment complex have been approved, according to Hartford Business Journal. The Planning and Zoning Commission last week approved a zone change and site plans submitted Pacifica Connect, a San Diego-based firm.

The site at 55 Tunxis Ave. has been vacant since 2016. The planned 48,000-square-foot residential project will include 46 one- and two-bedroom units and 71 parking spaces, the Hartford Business Journal reported.
