Update: Accident Cleared On I-91 In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 91 in Hartford had police and emergency services flocking to the highway, but the situation has since been cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash happened in the southbound side of I-91 between exits 34 and 33.

As a result, the right shoulder was closed, DOT officials said of the accident, which was reported at 2:30 p.m.

According to the DOT's Twitter feed, the situation was cleared up by 2:57 p.m.
