The brokerage says the property could accommodate a variety of commercial uses, including retail, office, medical and service businesses.
The listing also highlights its visibility along one of East Hartford's busiest commercial corridors and its proximity to Interstates 84 and 91, downtown Hartford and surrounding residential neighborhoods.
The diner's website still describes Triple A as an American restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner made with fresh ingredients.
However, calls to the restaurant's listed phone number now receive a recording indicating the number is out of service.
Triple A Diner traces its roots to 1956, when it first opened on Main Street in downtown East Hartford.
In 1967, the restaurant relocated to its longtime home at 1209 Main St., where it became a fixture for breakfast, late-night dining and family meals.
The diner remained in the hands of the founding families for generations before the property was sold in 2022 to Rian Realty Trust for $842,500.
The restaurant continued operating after the sale.
The property's future will depend on a new owner, with the listing highlighting opportunities for continued commercial use or potential redevelopment.
