Two Men Shot In Hartford Double-Shooting: Police

One of the victims is in his 20s, and the other is 19, police said.

HARTFORD, CT — The Hartford Police Department is investigating a double shooting overnight that left two young men injured, authorities said.

Officers responded after two victims arrived separately at Hartford Hospital seeking treatment for gunshot wounds, police said early Thursday morning.

Police said the first victim, a man in his 20s, suffered a single gunshot wound.

A second victim, a 19-year-old man, arrived shortly afterward with a similar injury.

Both wounds were reported to be non-life-threatening, police said.

Preliminary findings indicate the shooting occurred near Prospect Street and Sheldon Street.

The department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions have taken over the investigation, which remains active.
