HARTFORD, CT — Parkville Market has added a new breakfast vendor and begun opening earlier, moves aimed at expanding morning dining options in the city’s Parkville neighborhood.
"Honey Brunch" is now operating inside the food hall at 1400 Park St., serving items including stuffed challah French toast, frittatas, eggs Benedict, breakfast sandwiches, and tater tot brunch bowls.
The menu also features doughnuts, smoothies, and cereal milk.
Co-owner Mackenzie Parrish said the concept focuses on variety and atmosphere.
“Our vision is to offer a diverse menu of exciting brunch options in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. With a focus on style and flavor, we aim to create a memorable brunch experience for every guest,” Parrish said.
The opening coincides with new hours at Parkville Market, which began opening at 8 a.m. on April 27.
Owner and CEO Carlos Mouta said the change is intended to serve early customers better.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Honey Brunch to Parkville Market,” Mouta said. “Opening our doors earlier allows us to better serve the community, whether it’s for a grab-and-go sandwich or an early morning meeting. Honey Brunch is the perfect partner to help us kick off this new chapter.”
Parkville Market, which bills itself as Connecticut’s first and largest food hall, houses 22 restaurants, three bars, and event spaces, and regularly features local chefs and international cuisines.
