HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating after a man was shot in Hartford.
According to police, officers responded to 425 Wethersfield Ave. following a ShotSpotter notification.
While officers were investigating, they learned the victim had been taken by private vehicle to an out-of-town hospital for treatment. The victim, a male in his 40s, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police did not specify when the shooting took place.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and have assumed the investigation.
