HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police are investigating a shooting that left a man in his 20s injured on Tuesday night.
Officers responded to 605 Mary Shepard Place after receiving a report of a shooting, according to the Hartford Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said the injury was not considered life-threatening.
The victim was transported by emergency medical personnel to an area hospital for treatment.
The department's Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division responded to the scene and have taken over the investigation.
Police said the case remains active and ongoing.
