HARTFORD, CT — Hartford's riverfront will once again be filled with food, live music and family-friendly entertainment as the Hartbeats & Eats Music & Food Festival returns to Mortensen Riverfront Plaza from Thursday, July 16, through Saturday, July 18.
Hosted by Riverfront Recapture in conjunction with the former Hartbeat Music Festival, the three-day event will run daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and feature dozens of food vendors, shopping and performances on two stages.
The festival is free to attend and offers food, music, shopping and activities for visitors of all ages at Mortensen Riverfront Plaza, 300 Columbus Blvd., Hartford.

Organizers said festivalgoers can enjoy a variety of cuisines while taking in waterfront views along the Connecticut River.
Live entertainment will take place throughout the weekend on the Plaza Stage and Hartford HealthCare Community Stage. Saturday's scheduled performers include:
The festival will also coincide with ConnectiCon, bringing costumed attendees and cosplay activities to the nearby riverfront throughout the weekend.
The festivities begin Thursday evening with a free 6 p.m. performance by Changes in Latitude, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, on the Main Stage.
