TOWN, CT — Hartford logged 158 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Trucking and moving companies led the way with nine filings, followed by clothing and accessories retailers and home remodelers and builders.
Among the new arrivals were Caribbean On Wheels, a mobile food business, 1 Wall Street, a full-service restaurant and Edit Aesthetics Gift Company, a florist. All but seven organized as limited liability companies; the exceptions were two professional LLCs and five corporations.
Registering with the state doesn't necessarily mean a business has opened its doors — the paperwork can come well before or after a launch. The full list, with addresses and business categories, is below.
