HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police are investigating an early-morning shooting Monday that left a man in his 40s wounded, authorities said.
Officers responded to an area hospital at about 3:22 a.m. Sept. 14 after receiving a report that a gunshot victim had arrived for treatment, according to the Hartford Police Department.
Police said officers found a man in his 40s suffering from a gunshot wound that was considered non-life-threatening.
Investigators determined the shooting occurred in the area of Ledyard and Meadow streets, police said.
The Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions responded and are investigating.
No information about a possible suspect or the circumstances leading up to the shooting was immediately released.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
