HARTFORD, CT — A bail bonds company was among 119 businesses with Hartford addresses that registered with the state in September, according to the Connecticut Business Registry.
Hartford Bail Bonds LLC, on Russ Street, is registered under insurance-related activities.
Business types in the registry are chosen by the filers themselves and have not been independently verified.
Another 14 registrations last month listed the third floor of 36 Russ St., an address used by a commercial registered-agent service; those filings list the agent as their contact and are not included in the table below.
Among the remaining businesses, long-distance trucking companies led the list with eight registrations, followed by six each in real estate activities and general merchandise retail.
Other newcomers include Athawri Locksmith on Ashford Street; Tracey's Plants for Urban Living, a garden retailer on Ashley Street; ShowPow Jamaican Cuisine on Albany Avenue; UMI Sushi on New Park Avenue; and Kick The Violence Inc., which registered as a civic and social organization on Garden Street.
