Major Traffic Jam In Hartford After Monday AM Crash

HARTFORD, CT — A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 in Hartford Monday morning has caused a major traffic backup, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-91 North between exits 29 and 29A, resulting in the four left lanes being closed.

The wreck was first reported at 6:52 a.m., and it is "unknown" when the scene would be cleared.
