Route 2 Hartford Crash Cleared

HARTFORD, CT — A two-vehicle accident on Route 2 slowed traffic in Hartford Wednesday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has now been cleared.

DOT officials said the accicdent was on Route 2 westbound in the vicinity of Exit 2W.

As a result of the crash, the right lane was closed.

The accident was reported at 8:19 a.m. and it is no longer on the DOT's incident list.

Traffic was snarled earlier Wednesday morning due to a crash on Interstate 91 in Hartford, but that accident has been cleared as well.
