Second I-91 Crash Cleared In Hartford: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — A treacherous day on Hartford highways continued on Interstate 91 in Hartford, with another accident slowing down traffic late Monday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation.

That crash, one of five in Hartford Monday afternoon, is now cleared.

The DOT reports the two-vehicle accident was on I-91 South between exits 33 and 31, resulting in the right lane being closed.

This accident was reported at 4 p.m. and about an hour later it was cleared.

Two other incidents/accidents on I-91 Monday afternoon previously snarled traffic in Hartford, with a motorcycle crash on Interstate 84 in Hartford also being cleared in the city Monday afternoon.

Afterward, a crash between a tractor-trailer and a vehicle was quickly cleared up on I-84, the fifth incident of the afternoon.
