Arrests Made After Hartford Fentanyl Raid: PD

A handgun and drugs were seized, police said.

State Police seized fenanyl, cocaine, marijuana and a 9mm handgun during a drug raid in Hartford, according to police.

Members of the Statewide Narcotics Task Force were investigating distribution of fentanyl in and around the greater Hartford area. They raided an Alden Street apartment Aug. 30 around 6 a.m.

Leonardo Vazquez, 27, of Hartford was found to be on parole and is facing additional charges. He was remanded back to the custody of the state Department of Corrections. To sign up for free Greater Hartford news alerts and more, click here.

Danielle Cusano, 28, was charged with sale of one ounce or more of heroin, possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of a large capacity magazine and risk of injury to a child. She was released after posting a $50,000 bond.
