Bank Offers Free CT Museum Access To Card Holders
Museums in Hartford and New Britain are among the sites offering free admission this weekend and the first weekend of every month.
GREATER HARTFORD, CT — Bank of America, Merrill, and Bank of America Private Bank cardholders can receive free general admission to two Greater Hartford museums on Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5 ( plus the first full weekend of each month).
Participating museums in the Hartford area include:
- New Britain Museum of American Art, 56 Lexington St., New Britain. The New Britain Museum of American Art will be closed on Easter, Sunday, April 5
- Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, 600 Main St., Hartford.
"Through Museums on Us, Bank of America provides its cardholders with free access to artistic and cultural experiences at celebrated institutions during the first full weekend of every month," wrote Bank of America in a statement.
"This is one example of how the bank strengthens the local communities it serves in, creates greater cultural understanding, and expands accessibility to the arts."
