Crash Cleared On I-91 In Hartford: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — A serious crash caused major traffic issues in Hartford on Interstate 91 Wednesday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the three-vehicle wreck was on I-91 South between exits 33 and 32, resulting in the closure of the two right lanes.

As a result, the accident caused a 3-mile traffic jam between exits 35A and 32.

The accident was first reported at 2:51 p.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
