Bloomfield Man Pointed Gun At Driver: Police
A Bloomfield man is facing charges for pointing a handgun at another driver, according to state police.
BLOOMFIELD, CT — State police have arrested a Bloomfield man who is accused of pointing a handgun at another driver. Brandon Carter, 36, of 159 School St., was arrested on charges of carrying a pistol without a permit, possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, second-degree breach of peace, first-degree threatening, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
Police said they received a call at 5:52 a.m. Saturday from a driver who claimed another motorist had pointed a handgun at him. The driver followed the other vehicle and was able to provide police with a description of it.
The driver was identified as Carter and police said they found a weapon in his car during a search. They also found a knife on him when he was arrested.

He posted $5000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court in Enfield June 15.
