Boy, 14, Shot In Hartford Monday Morning: Police

The teen was shot outside at about 645 a.m. in Hartford.

HARTFORD, CT— The Hartford Police Department is investigating the shooting that left a 14-year-old male injured early Monday morning.

Patrol officers were dispatched at about 6:45 a.m. to the area of 22 East Street following a report of a gunshot victim, police said.

Upon arrival, officers found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound described as non-life-threatening, according to the HPD.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

Investigators believe the shooting may not have occurred on East Street, and the exact location remains unknown.
