Boy, 15, Shot On First Day of School In Hartford: Reports
On the same day when Hartford schools welcomed students back to the classroom, he was shot late Tuesday afternoon.

HARTFORD, CT — Tuesday was the first day of school for most students in Connecticut's capital city, but for one 15-year-old boy, it also meant a trip to the hospital after being shot.
Fortunately, multiple media reports indicate the boy will recover, and the injuries are non-life-threatening.
According to WFSB Channel 3, the shooting incident happened in the area of 54 Washington St., Hartford, shortly before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

WFSB reports the boy was alert and conscious when officers arrived.
WTNH Channel 8 said the shooting victim was quickly taken to a local hospital for treatment and the investigation is ongoing.
