Boy Shot In Apparent Accidental Shooting In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — An 8-year-old boy was shot in Hartford Monday morning and police are investigating, WTNH reported. The child was shot and injured around 11:35 a.m. on Vine Street.

The boy was transported to Connecticut Children's Medical Center and is in critical but stable condition. The child was alone in a room with a gun at the time of the incident, according to WTNH.
