Korean School of Greater Hartford Celebrates 40 Years of Education and Culture
The Korean School of Greater Hartford, the new name under which the Korean Language and Cultural Education Institute (KLCEI), is proudly celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
Since its founding in 1985 as Woori Hankuk School, the school has been dedicated to teaching the Korean language and promoting Korean culture throughout the Greater Hartford community. Over four decades, it has provided language instruction, cultural enrichment, and opportunities for students and families to connect with Korea’s heritage while fostering cross-cultural understanding.
This milestone anniversary will be marked with special events and performances honoring the contributions of students, teachers, families, and community partners who have supported the school’s mission for 40 years.
