16th Annual Ollie M. Williams Community Health & Wellness Fair

Run the single-loop 5K or double-loop 10K through historic, quaint streets with a finish in scenic Wethersfield Cove on an unpaved trail along the water. This end of summer running tradition also welcomes walkers in the 5K.
Each race participant will earn a short sleeve technical shirt. After the race, enjoy grab and go snacks and fresh fruit in the cove.
5K &amp; 10K CHALLENGES: Motivate the running season with these two NEW multi-race goals. A great reason to keep up the effort with three unique 5K or 10K courses, custom swag at each race, and a commemorative medal to be proud of at the completion of the series. Start off in Middletown in April, then join the UConn Health in June and end with Old Wethersfield in August to earn an extra commemorative medal for the extra efforts. <a href="https://www.hartfordmarathon.com/old-wethersfield-5k-10k/?page_id=951" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">DETAILS</a>

One way we do this is by partnering with municipalities, school districts, companies, donors, and volunteers to stock local classrooms with the supplies needed for a productive learning environment during formative years in student development.
Volunteers are needed to support our school supply drive by sorting donated school supplies, checking items for quality and completeness, and organizing them for delivery to local partners. MIDDLESEX HOSPITAL VOCAL CHORDS (MHVC) seeks altos, tenors and basses to join them in preparing for their 36 annual holiday concert to be held on Sunday, December 6, 2026.&nbsp; The event will be held at Portland High School, 95 High St., Portland at 2pm.&nbsp; We are searching for enthusiastic men and women (over age 18) to expand our Vocal Chord family.&nbsp; No auditions or prior experience required and you do not have to be an employee of Middlesex Health.&nbsp; Deadline to join is Tuesday, September 8th.&nbsp; This is a community-focused group that has delighted audiences for 36 years with energetic concerts featuring a wide range of musical styles.&nbsp; Our 80 current members hail from Central and Southern CT and represent diverse backgrounds.&nbsp; What unites us is our shared love for singing.

Happy hour running along the river in the capital region returns with a series of race options. Kick off the summer weekend early with a Thursday evening 5 mile race in East Hartford, capping off the three Riverfront events.
Enjoy an entirely different riverfront course and then, cool off with an ice cold craft brew from New England Brewing Company (21+ w/ID only) on the great lawn along the river at Goodwin University. Each race participant will earn a pair of custom designed technical socks and enjoy a mini mac attack from our friends at Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ.
Riverfront Summer Series: A trio of varying race distances on Thursday evenings, the multi-race series welcomes moving with friends and celebrating summer evenings. Comprised of Hartford’s Riverfront 5K in June, the redesigned Riverfront 4 Mile on a different Hartford course in July and the Riverfront 5 Mile in East Hartford in August.
