On Campus - Greater Hartford College Students

Bob Jones University, Greenville SC

• Bradley Shepard of East Hartford was among over 800 Bob Jones University students named to the Dean's List for academic achievement during the spring 2018 semester. Shepard is a junior Business Administration major. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.00-3.74 grade point average during the semester.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic Ct

• On May 12, Eastern Connecticut State University Social Work majors were inducted into Eastern's chapter of Phi Alpha, the national social work honor society. Tynia Cooper and Thomas Willingham, both of East Hartford, were among the inductees. The society provides a closer bond among students of social work and promotes humanitarian goals and ideals. Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have attained excellence in scholarship and achievement.
