Cannabis Cultivator Proposed For Former Hartford Courant Building

A cannabis cultivator is proposing a grow operation at a former distribution center for the Hartford Courant, according to a report.

HARTFORD, CT — A cannabis cultivation business is in the works at the former Hartford Courant distribution warehouse, according to The Hartford Business Journal. Developers are requesting special permits to open the facility at 121 Wawarme Ave.

Arlanda Brantley, a principal of River Growers CT, is proposing a 128,000-square-foot grow operation. The company is one of 16 in the state to have its social equity status approved.
