Capital Prep Gets Support in Latest Girls Basketball Poll
The Trailblazers are playing a difficult schedule against mainly tough out-of-state opponents.

HARTFORD, CT — After an uncharacteristic 1-3 start, Capital Prep has rebounded with four straight wins to improve its status in the latest girls basketball poll of coaches and media members.
The Trailblazers (5-3) did not crack the top 10, but received a considerable amount of support from voters in the most recent balloting. The team has back-to-back games in New York this weekend, against Nazareth Friday night and Kellenberg Memorial Saturday afternoon.
Mercy (10-0) moved into sole possession of first place in this week's rankings.
