The Trailblazers are creeping toward the top 10, with seven wins in their last eight contests.

HARTFORD, CT — Recovering nicely from a slow start to the season, the girls basketball team from Capital Prep is slowly making its way toward the top 10.
The Trailblazers (8-4) have won seven of their past eight games, and are scheduled for three contests this week, including a rare in-state matchup at home Thursday night against Ridgefield.
Mercy and New London, both 14-0, continued to battle for the top two spots in the poll.
