Capital Prep Gets Votes In Initial Girls Basketball Poll

The Trailblazers are playing a difficult schedule this season, with all but five games against tough out-of-state opponents.

HARTFORD, CT — A demanding schedule featuring 15 games against tough out-of-state opponents has left the Capital Prep girls basketball team in an unfamiliar position early in the new year.

The Trailblazers (2-3) did not crack the top 10 of the initial girls basketball poll of coaches and media members, but did receive some support from voters.

Capital Prep has three games on tap this week, highlighted by a Saturday afternoon showdown at city rival Weaver.
