Capital Prep Remains Second in Girls Basketball Poll

The Trailblazers are seeking to win a state title for the fifth straight season.

HARTFORD, CT — After a one-week dip, New London reclaimed the top position in the latest weekly Connecticut high school girls basketball poll.

The Whalers (18-1) bounced back from their only loss of the season to post two more big victories, earning six of 12 first-place votes in the most recent balloting.
