THE CAPITOL GROOVE EXPANDS FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE WITH NEW TELEFUNKEN STAGE, CULINARY VENDORS, CRAFT VILLAGE


Hartford, CT - The Capitol Groove continues to expand its festival experience with exciting new additions that go beyond the lineup. Happening June 28-29 in downtown Bushnell Park with Khruangbin, Bleachers, CAKE, Thundercat, Thee Sacred Souls and more, the festival is thrilled to announce the debut of the Telefunken Stage featuring a carefully curated roster of emerging and established artists, an enhanced culinary experience featuring local Connecticut and regional food and beverage vendors, and more.

The Telefunken Stage, named after festival sponsor and legendary microphone manufacturer TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik, will provide festival-goers with a more intimate experience for music discovery, featuring seven emerging artists across both festival days.
Saturday:

  • 4:50 p.m. - Wild & Company
  • 6:25 p.m. - Dom McLennon with Cheem
  • 8:00 p.m. - Dwayne Keith Project

Food lovers will have plenty to enjoy with this year’s lineup of culinary purveyors, including festival favorites and a strong showing from state-wide and regional vendors, offering a dynamic mix of local and out-of-town flavors with something for every palate. Connecticut food vendors include Grumpy Dumpling Co., Little Pub, Taste House Food Truck, Flavors, Los Mariachis on Wheels and more, while vendors hailing from throughout the East Coast and beyond include Lumpia Bros. out of Massachusetts, Maryland’s Get Baked Food Trolley, The Broccoli Bar from Vermont, Smoketown BBQ from New York City, Mazz ‘a’ Mia’s, Vara's Racing Steak Truck and more.


The Capitol Groove will also host select retail vendors, including nature-inspired art and goods from Cloth and Clover Co., handmade ceramics from Potson, hemp apparel from Sunny Life Hats, zodiac-themed decor and novelties from Dream of the Stars, and vibrant sunglasses from See Happy Glasses.
These new additions reflect The Capitol Groove's commitment to creating a comprehensive experience that showcases both musical artistry and local community. The Telefunken Stage, expanded food offerings, and craft market work together to transform the festival grounds into a true celebration of regional talent and creativity, ensuring plenty to discover over two days throughout Bushnell Park.


2-Day VIP tickets are sold out, but Single-Day and 2-Day General Admission as well as Single-Day VIP tickets are still available. VIP tickets include elevated, prime viewing of the stage, access to the VIP Lounge, air-conditioned restrooms, a premium bar with drinks for purchase and dedicated food purveyors, a dedicated shaded area, and more.
