2 Injured After Car Gets Trapped Under Truck In Hartford Crash

The accident happened early Saturday morning near the intersection of Sigourney​ and Collins streets, according to a report.

HARTFORD, CT — Two people were critically injured early Saturday after the car they were driving became trapped under a box truck, according to a report.

Just before 3:20 a.m., Hartford police were called to the intersection of Sigourney and Collins streets following a report of a car accident, News 8 reported. When officers arrived, they found a car partially trapped under a box truck that also was involved in the accident.

Both passengers in the car were taken to the hospital, where they remain in critical condition, according to News 8. Their names have not been released.
