Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation Offers Stories in Stone Walking Tour

Join Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation on Saturday, September 13 at 10:00 am for the guided walk, Stories in Stone.

From the sarcophagus to the obelisk, Celtic cross, pyramid and more, Ann Mione highlights the origin and significance of popular monument styles found in 19th-century cemeteries. And she will share information about the lot owners who selected these magnificent memorials.

Admission to the program is $10.00 and free for Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation members. Advance reservations are recommended and may be made online at www.cedarhillfoundation.org.

Cedar Hill Cemetery is located at 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford. The walking tour begins at the flagpole at the end of the entrance drive.
