Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation Presents Cinema at the Cemetery

Join Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 7:30 pm for movie night featuring Katharine Hepburn in the classic romantic comedy, The Philadelphia Story.

The free movie will be shown on an outdoor screen on the sprawling lawn between the Garden and Cedar Mausoleums. Bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the show.

The Philadelphia Story (1940) stars Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart in addition to Hepburn. In the popular movie, a love triangle ensues when a socialite’s wedding plans are complicated by her ex-husband and a prying journalist.

The film was based on the Broadway play also starring Hepburn. It was her first hit movie following several flops in the late 1930s.
