Connecticut Teacher Charged With Sexual Assault of High School Student
The former middle school teacher is alleged to have engaged in "an inappropriate relationship" with a high school student.
NEW BRITAIN, CT — A former middle school teacher is facing a number of charges after an investigation into an alleged inappropriate relationship with a high school student, Fox61 reported.
Kelsey Cabral, 33, a math teacher at Slade Middle School, is charged with risk of injury to children by sexual contact, fourth-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to children by impairing morals, tampering with a witness and criminal attempt to tamper with evidence.
Cabral, who is no longer employed by New Britain Public Schools, is being held on $350,000 bond.
