Coronavirus Hartford: Parking Business To Lay Off Workers
A Hartford-based parking business said demand is down due to restrictions.

HARTFORD, CT — As the state and businesses are requiring workers to stay at home, LAZ Parking has seen a drop in demand and says it will lay off workers, Hartford Business Journal reported. A company official said the layoffs will be temporary and they intend to rehire workers once "the crisis subsides and business rebounds."
The company is creating a $1 million employee relief aid fund and asking the federal government to step in and support workers, according to Hartford Business Journal. LAZ Parking has thousands of locations across 423 cities.
