Crash Cleared On I-84 In East Hartford: UPDATE

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A miserable weather day got even worse for Interstate 84 commuters in East Hartford as a two-vehicle crash has snarled traffic there, but the crash has now been cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the accident was on I-84 East heading into Hartford between exits 52 and 53, resulting in the left and center lanes being closed.

The crash was first reported at 8:25 a.m. and it was reported "cleared" by the state at 9:24 a.m.
