Crash In Hartford/West Hartford Cleared; Potential 'Serious Injury' Collision: Police: UPDATE
State police said Thursday morning the single-vehicle accident was a possible 'serious injury' accident.
HARTFORD/WEST HARTFORD, CT — An early morning crash on Interstate 84 in Hartford caused significant early morning delays for commuters Thursday, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.
According to the DOT, the accident is on I-84 West between exits 45 and 44, resulting in the highway's closure at that location for much of the morning commute.
As part of the situation, the I-84 West onramp at Exit 44 in nearby West Hartford was also closed.

Connecticut State Police said Thursday morning the accident involved 'potential serious injuries.'
The accident was first reported at 5:01 a.m., and it is no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
