Crash Slows Highway Traffic In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — Interstate 84 in Hartford was backed up early Wednesday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT reports the crash was on I-84 East between exits 48 and 49, resulting in the closure of the right and center lanes.

The accident was first reported at 12:52 p.m., and it is "unknown" when the scene will be cleared.
