Crash Now Cleared On I-84 In Hartford: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — A two-vehicle wreck on Interstate 84 in Hartford Monday afternoon caused problems for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the crash was on I-84 East between exits 46 and 48, resulting in the closure of the left and center lanes and, later, just the left lane. (Early reports had the crash on I-84 West, but the DOT changed that at about 3:33 p.m. to I-84 East).

The accident was first reported at 3:13 p.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
