Crash Cleared In East Hartford: UPDATE

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 in East Hartford caused some traffic headaches for greater Hartford motorists, but it is now cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the two-vehicle accident occurred on I-84 East between exits 58 and 59.

As a result, the right shoulder of the highway was closed as crews tended to the scene.

The accident was first reported at 12:54 p.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
