Update: Crash Cleared On I-84 In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — The weather may be dry, but the problems for motorists on Interstate 84 east continued, with a three-vehicle crash snarling traffic Wednesday morning, though it is now cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, a three-vehicle wreck is reported on I-84 east between exits 50 and 51.

That has resulted in the right shoulder being closed, according to the DOT, which reported the crash at 7:59 a.m.

About an hour later, however, DOT officials via Twitter reported that accident was cleared by 9 a.m.

This accident came a day after several I-84 accidents were reported during Tuesday's rainstorm in East Hartford, Hartford and West Hartford.
