Crashes Cleared On I-91 In Hartford: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic was snarled on Interstate 91 in Hartford Wednesday afternoon after two motor vehicle crashes, according to the state Department of Transportation, but both are now cleared.

The DOT said the first accident was on I-91 North between exits 29A and 32, resulting in the closure of the left lane.

The accident was first reported at 1:54 p.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.

At 2:17 p.m., the DOT reported a two-vehicle accident in the same area and that accident is no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
