
HARTFORD, CT — A rain-slickened Interstate 84 in Hartford was a motorized mess late Monday morning following a two-vehicle accident that had snarled traffic, but it has since been cleared.
According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash happened on I-84 eastbound between exits 50 and 51 in the heart of the city.
As a result, the right and center lanes were closed, according to the DOT, which reported the accident at 10:48 a.m. Monday.

According to the DOT's Twitter feed, the accident was cleared at 12:10 p.m.
