Crash Now Cleared On I-84 In East Hartford: UPDATE

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 in East Hartford caused a traffic mess for afternoon commuters, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-84 West between exits 56 and 55, resulting in the two right lanes being closed.

The crash was first reported at 3:58 p.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident list.
